We specialize strictly in leak proofing and waterproofing of structures having structural defects like roof leakages, dampness, water seepage, under tiling etc. We would like to be of service to you in any of your branches nationwide when the need arises. We have experience spanning over 15 years. Some of our clients are all south-west regional branches of Intercontinental Bank ( Access bank) including her head office, Lagos state governors' office, Lagos state central mosque, Lagos state house of assembly, Gateway Hotel, Ota, KPMG, UPDC, UAC, WEMA bank plc, Sky mall, and others. We are also consultants in leak proofing for some major construction companies. Serotny Global is a company that frequently improves its technology and methodology. Research is conducted regularly to improve its methodology.
The company changed its mode of service from 4mm and 4.5mm thick membranes to joint-less liquid plastic in 2016. This change became necessary due to incessant complaints by clients regarding water penetration to concrete slabs/substrates through vertical and horizontal overlapping. This usually occurs after a certain period of time due to thermal movement. Serotny Global carried out a massive research on ways to solve this overlapping penetration issue and came up with the joint less liquid plastic, which requires a pressurized machine mode of application or can be applied manually with a brush. This forms a thick film on a substrate when it dries. It expands and contrasts as it is elastic in nature. It does not crack or shrink due to thermal movement, unlike the membrane that cracks after a certain period. This development increased the annual revenue for SGL in 2017 to 9% and 14% in 2018.
The new technology for installation reduces the number of workers as it has been installed with a pressure machine, unlike the membrane installation that requires several workers. SGL is still committed to rendering unsurpassed bespoke leak proofing services to its clients across West Africa and beyond. A new technology known as MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SOLVENT SOLUTION (MFSS) has just been introduced. The construction industry has really had several challenges in dealing with waterproofing issues arising from existing and new structures. SGL is dedicated to improving its technology by going all out to eradicate this challenge completely.
